Principal Services

As the Parish Church, Christ Church holds regular services for public worship on each Sunday throughout the year, on all major festivals and at other times as specified. The usual times of these services are as follows:

Sunday

8.00am    Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

9.15am    Parish Communion (Common Worship)

6.00pm    Evensong (Book of Common Prayer) (replaced by Evening Worship in All Saints Church from July-September

Wednesday

10.00am    Holy Communion with hymns and short address (Book of Common Prayer) (in All Saints Church from July-September)

(NB This service is sometimes replaced with Morning Prayer)

1st Monday of the Month

2.00pm    Holy Communion at Hollygarth House

2nd Sunday of the Month

A Family Service is normally held at 11.00am on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
