Children's Society

The Children's Society is a Voluntary Society of the Church of England dedicated to the welfare and care of children who find themselves in unfortunate circumstances through no fault of their own. It was formerly know as 'The Church of England Children's Society' and previously 'Waifs and Strays'.

The Children's Society has an active fund-raising Committee in Great Ayton which organises and runs several activities throughout the year to raise funds for the Society. These activities are usually arranged on an annual basis each year - details of which will appear here in due course.

Recycled and hand-crafted Greetings Cards are available at most of our functions and throughout the year by contacting Pauline Titchmarsh (01642 724153). All proceeds of these cards throughout the year will be matched £ for £ under the Barclays Bank Staff 'Fund Matching Scheme' to which we are grateful.
