Church Men's Group

Since the inauguration of the Church Men’s Group it has been agreed that meetings will normally be held each month and that the day will be varied in order to accommodate all those who would like to attend.

It is intended to take advantage of longer daylight during the summer months for outings of specific interest to some members. Details of these will be advertised here and in the Christ Church calendar as appropriate. When meetings take place at the Royal Oak, those attending should meet in the lounge bar at 7.00pm before moving to the private upstairs room where meetings usually take place. The meetings will be informal with those attending partaking of food and drink as required.

Future Meeting Dates

At our Planning Meeting in the autumn we decided to invite speakers to help us explore ‘Ethical Issues for Christians in Life & Work’, so far we have arranged the following - if you know of others who could help us please let Geoff Jaques know. Please add these dates in your diary now and do let your friends know.

20^th February at the Royal Oak - Industry with the Chairman of Northumbria Industrial Mission, Rev’d Ken Harris.

29^th February at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough, when England U21 play their UEFA 2013 Under-21 European Championship Qualification match against their Group 8 rivals Belgium. Look out for more details soon.
