Our Mission

Collectively, we have a mission to the people within our parishes to bring them to Christ through the message of the Gospel. We also have a mission to give support to God's Church elsewhere in the world and to charities at home and abroad.

FUND RAISING

Recent projects have given financial support in raising the funds for projects in the Christian Church abroad.

1.    As the necessary funds were raised for a new Millennium Window in the West end of Christ Church it was felt that we should also raise funds for a project abroad. Through contact with the Barnabas Fund, the funds - in excess of £10,000 for a school extension at the Christian Church in Aleppo, Syria were raised from activities during the year 2000.

2.    Since the year 2000, several £'000's have been raised to assist with the formation of the new Diocese of Ho in Ghana. more details of Ho can be obtained by clicking on the link above.

At home, our parish sends funds to various charities on an annual basis either by direct donation or by special fund-raising events.
