What Couples Said
|
Following a wedding at either Christ Church, Great Ayton or Saint Oswald's Church, Newton under Roseberry, it is quite common to receive a Thank You from the couple. We always aim to make the service as special as possible and hope that it will be remembered for being the most important part of a very special day. Here are some comments received from weddings in 2010 onwards.
"Thank you for a lovely and entertaining service for our wedding. The service was beautiful and moving."
"What made our day special to us was that I was welcomed to marry in church although I was a divorcee, our vows are extremely special.... everyone who joined in our ceremony has commented on the service especially the magic tricks, although everyone was aware of the importance of us becoming husband and wife under guidance of the Lord, I think the way it was delivered was more important. We had an amazing service and couldn't of wished for a better blessing and can't thank you enough for that."
"At every wedding we go to, people are still talking about our service! You said you wanted the service to be the highlight of the day and it was." "Thank you to you and all who helped to make our wedding so special. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it, and thought it was very relaxed, welcoming and warm. What a wonderful way to start our married life together." "Thank you for making our wedding ceremony so special. We loved every minute. The puppets were brilliant - lots of positive feedback, people thought they were very entertaining!"
"We just wanted to say thank you for our wonderful wedding service. The service was so bespoke and special due to your unique style. You had everyone talking about how wonderful your service was for weeks after."
And recently received from a wedding in 2003. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the whole service again, and enjoyed your sermon every bit as much as the first time around!! Thanks again for a great service and for the tape which we are so grateful to have. Don't know if we ever got the chance to tell you how many of our non-church-going friends told us after the wedding how comfortable they felt at our wedding and how much they enjoyed it, and for all of them it was obviously a (sadly) rare thing to feel so comfortable in a church. That was entirely down to you, but it meant everything to us, and hopefully them too. It certainly seemed to, and is, for us, one of the best things about our wedding day.
